Bambinos are the deliberate hybrid of long-boned shortened dwarf cat including the Munchkin and the extremely short coated or hairless cat including the sphynx. The desired result, a hairless short cat. Bambinos are intelligent and friendly and are very agile as their short stature does not affect their ability to move about. They are very interactive cats. The Bambino breed is currently in the developmental stages. Bambino litters produce shortlegged and longlegged kittens. The difference between them are their leg lengths. Long leg Bambinos are vital to the Bambino Breeding Program as they match the standard in every other way. We are concentrating our efforts on health, personality and type. Bambinos are currently accepted in The International Cat Association registration status as an experimental breed. While we are working toward our goals, Bambinos can be shown as Exhibition Only or in the Household Pet Class. You can follow the progress of the Bambino by bookmarking the site below. We are expecting Bambino kittens in late June, so please check back with us on the birth of these adorable kittens.
